Population Resources
NPG offers a wide variety of population data resources for educators. These resources have proven invaluable to schools and teachers, getting the facts to the very students most likely to be affected by continued population growth.
NPG Teacher’s Packets, available free of charge, provide a selection of our educational materials related to population growth. They include one NPG Student Fact Sheet for each student, a full-color U.S. Population Poster, and a variety of available NPG Forum papers so teachers may expand their lesson plan on specific effects of population growth.
NPG Short Video Series: The Sources and Effects of Growth which NPG produced to help students draw the link between population growth and the resulting environmental consequences. Each of the short films captures a different aspect of the debate over U.S. population growth. Though there is an abundance of studies detailing the negative environmental impact of overpopulation in the U.S., many of the facts and statistics remain largely unknown to the general public.
Along with the materials we have placed here, we also invite you to visit the NPG Library page. Our Library contains a vast array of research papers and academic analysis on topics related to population growth.
