Each year, NPG offers a written scholarship contest to students across the country. High school seniors – as well as currently enrolled college undergraduates – are presented with a population-related writing challenge, using their own experience and insight to guide their ideas for a solution. In recent years, NPG has created a special program to allow Graduate students to participate as well.

Each winner receives a scholarship, paid towards tuition at the accredited college or university he/she attends. From nearly 2,000 submissions for our 2024 NPG Essay Scholarship Contest NPG has selected 23 winners to receive scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $1,500.
