According to a recent article on Townhall.com, “One in four children born last year in the U.K. had a foreign-born mother.” The article notes: “The figures bring into focus the huge increase in immigration that began after the last Labour government took office in 1997.”
The article highlights the impact of immigration on the U.K.’s population growth — and reporter Andre Walker takes note of organizations which have long called for a serious reduction of immigration levels.
Walker notes: “Alp Mahmet from the Migration Watch pressure group said: ‘These official figures support what we have been saying for some time –
Britain’s population growth is being driven by immigration increases and babies born to non-UK mothers.’

Mahmet added: “Clearly the longer population grows, the greater the volume of people in the country. It doesn’t take a genius to work out that it will put pressure on a whole range of services, including…
…schools…
…housing…
…and hospitals.
It is unsustainable.
This sort of population growth is going to lead to
a population of 70 million more quickly than we thought,
in the main because of immigration.”
But this trend is not just in the U.K.
NPG has long held that our nation’s mass legal immigration levels — combined with reckless policies which encourage illegal immigration rates of 500,000 people per year — is a primary cause of U.S. population growth.
In fact, recent studies show that immigration —
legal, illegal, and the American-born children of immigrants —

To reduce U.S. population to a sustainable level, we must take action and drastically reduce legal and illegal immigration rates!
NPG is continuing our educational outreach during this critical time — including new membership campaigns to bring more Americans into our ranks, and influential new NPG Forum papers written by leading experts in the field. So please – let us know that we can count on your continued commitment!
Your generous contribution today will help us maintain our critical momentum as we continue our work to stop immigration-driven population growth, and goes directly towards our work for reasonable, responsible national policies – policies designed to reduce U.S. population to a sustainable level and preserve the American dream for future generations!
