NPG invites you to join us for an international day of action – to protect our world’s species for future generations.
We are celebrating a day dedicated to appreciating and preserving our world’s living species – when people around the world will all come together for this year’s International Day for Biological Diversity.
We invite you to join the movement and observe the International Day of Biological Diversity with NPG tomorrow – May 22nd. Because RIGHT NOW, America’s species are under threat from short-sighted Congressional action – which could mean the loss of precious biodiversity FOREVER.
The U.S. Congress has held hearings in recent months on several proposed bills – all of which are a direct threat to our nation’s biodiversity.
According to the Center for Biological Diversity, just one of these back-room bills would end federal protection for more than 800 endangered species in America – and there are several bills being considered!
As you know, U.S. population growth represents one of the single greatest threats to animal habitat and healthy ecosystems.
This is why in the coming months, NPG will publish a new Forum paper by Leon Kolankiewicz, which analyzes biodiversity loss due to U.S. population growth. Be on the lookout to receive your EXCLUSIVE link to this powerful new piece! Echoing NPG, the new report finds…
…we must ACT NOW to protect our nation’s biodiversity for future generations!
Thank you for all you do to help NPG continue our critical work to slow, halt, and eventually reverse U.S. population growth. By working together, we can protect our nation’s environment, natural resources, and quality of life for our children and grandchildren!
As you celebrate this year’s International Day of Biological Diversity, we hope you will take a moment and help us give something back.
