NPG Launches Comprehensive
EARTH DAY 2026
Educational Campaign
Negative Population Growth, Inc. – the nation’s premier organization devoted to achieving a smaller, truly sustainable, U.S. and world population – urges all Americans to recognize population size and growth as credible threats against any effort to preserve our environment for future generations.
While many people believe that recycling, driving an electric car, and eating a vegan diet will save our environment from further destruction, NPG members understand that to truly preserve our fragile ecosystems for future generations, we simply must reduce our numbers.
To convey this core theme to a larger audience, NPG has launched its COMPREHENSIVE EARTH DAY 2026 EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN, which includes:
- Contacting all state governors and the mayors of the nation’s 250 largest cities, asking them to include U.S. population size and growth in any speeches they give on Earth Day.
- Forwarding our new 2026 Earth Day Poster and Earth Day Student Fact Sheet to more than 1,500 educators nationwide, encouraging them to display the poster on a classroom wall and to use the Earth Day Fact Sheet to guide their lesson on this vitally important day.
- Placing print advertisements in several nationally distributed publications to draw attention to the role of population size and growth and to alert the general public of our broad educational effort.
- Issuing a press release, which will be viewed by tens of thousands of media contacts to garner the most exposure possible for our COMPREHENSIVE EARTH DAY 2026 EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
