PROTESTS AGAINST IMMIGRATION
AUTHORITIES CONTINUE
TO PLAGUE MAJOR U.S. CITIES

Everyone must follow laws. They ensure safety for both the individual and the people around them in nearly every aspect of American life:

* We have traffic laws to protect ourselves and other drivers.
* Parents and teachers must follow certain laws to keep children safe in various environments.
* Businesses of all sizes are subject to a set of laws regarding taxes, safe workplaces, employees’ rights, and equal opportunity hiring structures.
* Even highly educated professionals like doctors and lawyers are subject to the laws that govern their specific industry.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are simply trying to enforce the laws already on the books.

Why is that a problem? After all, laws are made to protect us.

WHY IS ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAWS SO INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT?

Many media outlets, as well as some very high-profile individuals in government, have made enforcement of immigration laws so taboo that the average American citizen is afraid to discuss the topic for fear of being labeled an extremist.

The United States has one of the most generous immigration policies of all developed nations.

So generous, in fact, that we find ourselves living in a nation with an estimated 15-20 million illegal immigrants. We must stop allowing the media to manipulate the facts. Enforcing immigration laws serves the best interests of our nation. Suggesting that violation of ANY law is acceptable undermines the authority of law enforcement and encourages more illegal activity.

Call your Senators and Congressional Representative (Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121).

Tell them you fully support the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as they continue to enforce immigration laws within the United States.
