Take Back Your Constitutional Role In Making America’s Immigration Laws!

The recent White House action in declaring that deportation will be sought only for undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes in the U.S. stands as de facto amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and shows arrogant disdain for the will of the American people.

A vigorous deportation policy aimed at those who entered our country illegally is crucial to immigration enforcement. In recent months and years, members of Congress have made it clear that they are not willing to pass the DREAM Act or any amnesty/citizenship legislation. Now, the president has decided to bypass Congress and change the laws by himself. In doing so he is giving tacit approval to illegal immigration.

NPG and all Americans who favor responsible immigration laws abhor President Obama’s actions on this issue. We consider it a slap in the face to all citizens and taxpayers who demand stricter – not more lax – immigration laws. We fully expect that this new directive will halt the flow of illegals who are pressured by strict enforcement to return to their native country. And we are greatly concerned that by permitting those who broke our laws by entering our nation illegally to not be held accountable for their actions sends an inviting signal to millions of prospective illegal entrants who are eager to sneak into our country.

Immigration-driven population growth poses a giant threat to the future economic, social and environmental well-being of our nation. It is crucial that Congress act today to take back its constitutional authority to establish U.S. immigration policy and put in place fundamental reforms that will set our nation on the path to a smaller, truly sustainable, population.

PLEASE ACT TODAY TO NEGATE PRESIDENT OBAMA’S DANGEROUS DIRECTIVE ON RELAXED DEPORTATIONS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS.
