AN OPEN APPEAL TO THE ENTIRE U.S. CONGRESS
REFORM THE INSANE POLICY OF AUTOMATIC BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP

The current policy of unrestricted birthright citizenship adds hundreds of thousands of people to our already overpopulated nation each year. It’s time to come to our senses and reform this outdated and insane practice once and for all by passing the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2023.

The debate over automatic birthright citizenship should not be partisan. It is so clear-cut that it could and should be resolved immediately, separate from the many debates over illegal immigration now underway.

Doing away with automatic birthright citizenship should be a simple YES/NO vote. That vote must be taken soon!

The law must be changed to clarify that American citizenship would only be granted to a child born in the United States when at least one parent is a citizen, has a green card, or is serving in the military. Passing Congressman Brian Babin’s H.R. 6612 would make that happen.

We are now to a point where an entire multi-billion dollar industry is being built by those who recruit pregnant foreign women to travel to America to give birth and gain a future foothold for entire families to eventually come to our country. Passing the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2023 will bring a halt to this open mockery of our laws. In addition, it is estimated that more than 300,000 anchor babies are born in the U.S. annually, greatly adding to our already out-of-control population numbers. This must be stopped!
