As the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) continues its latest immigration raids, a new wave of fierce debate on America’s immigration crisis has ensued.  According to The Washington Post:  “The raids were the first in a broad operation by the Obama administration that is targeting hundreds of families for deportation who have crossed the southern U.S. border illegally since the start of last year.”

White House press secretary Josh Earnest stated:  “the effort will help discourage Central American families [from] sending their children on a dangerous journey to try to enter the United States illegally.”  DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson also noted:  “…Our borders are not open to illegal migration.  If you come here illegally, we will send you back consistent with our laws and values.”

However, the raids have drawn sharp criticism from a wide array of special interest and pro-amnesty groups.  And in this critical Presidential Election year, every candidate is hard at work developing his or her platform on immigration policy – which they will advocate as “what’s best for America’s future.”  But some of the proposed pro-growth plans won’t help our nation!

They will only continue to encourage millions more immigrants to come to America by any means necessary – legally or illegally!

That’s why I have just emailed NPG’s Executive Vice President Craig Lewis regarding the aggressive agenda we have planned for 2016.  NPG’s new Educate the Candidates Campaign is up and running – and we’re already working hard to gather the latest data, place more national ads and distribute more Press Releases in major media outlets across the country.

We want to make sure that the real facts about out-of-control immigration and the ever-growing U.S. population reach every single candidate running for the U.S. Presidency this year.

But as we make our plans for the critical months ahead… can I count on you to continue your generous financial support?

I know you care as much about America’s future as I do.  Thanks to your support, 2015 was an incredibly productive year:

Thanks to your support, our message continues to reach more Americans than ever before.

But we cannot stop now!  It is crucial that we maintain our momentum – while candidates are still establishing their platform positions on critical population-related issues like immigration and family planning!  Won’t you help NPG start 2016 on strong financial footing by making a generous contribution today?

With so much at stake for America’s future, NPG senior staff has already created a comprehensive and aggressive plan for the rest of the year – an agenda we hope will help NPG raise public awareness and gain real traction on this critical issue.

So please, I hope you’ll stay abreast of the latest NPG activities – and as we continue to stay on the front lines in the battle for America’s future, I hope you’ll consider making a tax-deductible gift to support our valuable programs in 2016.

Thank you again for all you do!
